EPFO has raised the statutory wage ceiling from ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month from 17 September 2026. Employers should review affected employees, PF calculations and September ECR compliance under the revised ceiling.
The GST Council will now meet on 7 October 2026 in New Delhi instead of 12 September. Only the meeting date has moved. All GST return and payment due dates stay exactly as they are.
